Disability Inclusion · NSW Department
NSW Government Department
Advancing disability inclusion without causing further harm.
Embedding trauma-informed consultation as a governance and psychosocial safety priority.
Client Goals
The mandate
Many employees with disability had previously experienced stigma, disclosure penalty, inconsistent adjustments and cumulative microaggressions. Conventional consultation carried material risk of re-traumatisation. The Department required a high-integrity, trauma-informed inclusion risk diagnostic.
- ●Gather meaningful insight without causing further harm
- ●Design psychological safety by default
- ●Manage power asymmetries across the process
- ●Strengthen trust rather than erode it
