Building cultural intelligence and inclusion capability that enhances performance and safety — not just awareness.
Australia is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world. Nearly half of the population was either born overseas or has at least one parent born overseas, and more than 300 languages are spoken across the country. This diversity reflects successive waves of migration from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, alongside the enduring cultures and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, the world's oldest continuing cultures.
A culturally diverse workforce brings a range of perspectives, skills, lived experience, and knowledge that drive innovation, improve decision-making, and enhance business outcomes. However, cultural diversity is complex and organisations may struggle to leverage the benefits of a culturally diverse workforce without the capability to work effectively and inclusively across cultural differences.
"We've done a lot of diversity training but it focused mainly on gender and overlooked ethnicity, culture and language."
"Our gender inclusion issues have improved outcomes for some women — but not all women."
"We've run respect at work training, but the facilitator didn't address tensions that can arise from cultural differences."

What this training covers
What this cultural diversity and inclusion training covers.
This course raises awareness and provides practical tools for managing cultural differences and addressing cultural bias across all workplace interactions and decisions. Participants gain hands-on skills and practise them in real workplace scenarios, like performance reviews, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
Optional CQ assessments
Optional Cultural Intelligence (CQ) assessments from the Cultural Intelligence Centre provide insights into individual CQ capabilities and values orientations. These profiles help participants better understand how they approach cultural differences and where development may be needed. Integrating CQ assessments supports targeted learning, guides behaviour change, and enables organisations to measure progress in strengthening cultural competence over time.

A lot of what you said really resonated with me and made me feel seen with some of my cultural habits (even if I ironically didn't speak up as much in the session because of said cultural habits). Great session.
