Organisational culture is the foundation on which success is built. Organisational values are the core of organisational culture and are intended to guide how people behave, collaborate, and make decisions in ways that optimise team and organisation success. When these values are clearly understood and consistently practised, they create alignment across teams and provide a foundation for trust, engagement, and high performance.

However, defining values alone does not create culture. Without a shared understanding of how values translate into behaviour, teams interpret them differently — leading to inconsistent expectations and fragmented ways of working.
